A current referral from a general practitioner or other medical specialist is required to obtain a Medicare rebate.

Initial appointments typically last 45–60 minutes. In most cases, the assessment is completed over one to three appointments, with subsequent appointments usually 30 minutes in length.
Patients are encouraged to bring a list of current medications and relevant past treatments to the initial appointment. Relatives or support persons may attend at the patient's discretion.
Ongoing appointments are generally 30 or 45 minutes, depending on clinical requirements.

Patient privacy is treated with the utmost importance. The practice maintains rigorous policies to safeguard confidentiality and ensure the secure handling of personal health information.

Fees are set in accordance with AMA guidelines and are available on request. A Medicare rebate is available with a current referral.
Once the Medicare Safety Net threshold is reached, Medicare provides a higher rebate for out-of-pocket expenses. Patients can confirm their registration for the Medicare Safety Net by contacting Medicare on 132 011.
This is not a bulk-billing practice.

Patients are asked to provide at least one working day’s notice for cancellations. Appointments cancelled with less than one working day’s notice may incur a cancellation fee.
